Kimmy took a brief break from her professional work to open her own school, further developing a Montessori-based system that nurtured the family unit as a whole. However, her life took an unexpected turn when she discovered the tragic loss of her father to suicide. Amid the inevitable shock and grief, Kimmy felt a deep, intuitive wisdom within that helped her realize how an event of this magnitude held the opportunity for profound growth and discovery of deeper purpose in her life—a transformative experience she recognizes as her "second birth."

Kimmy began leading an early childhood program at a Montessori school in the mountains of Utah. Seeking healing and deeper self-understanding, this marked the beginning of an integrative healing journey, exploring healing alternative healing modalities during which she rediscovered personal truths and gifts from her own childhood. One pivotal moment came a couple years later before her first solo skydive when the instructor asked a life-changing question: "Kimmy, do you trust yourself to save your own life today?"

In that moment, Kimmy reclaimed her power and committed to pursuing the summit within. She stepped away from the conventional path of Western medicine, instead following her intuition into the realms of Chinese medicine, Native American philosophy, and a dedicated yoga practice. These experiences, among others, continue to unfold as part of her ever-expanding spiritual journey.
